As you can see from the picture, the Made in the USA Foundation has written a book! And I hope you know that books are cool! The book is basically a list of items that are made in the USA. These items are generally school supplies, such as backpacks, pencils, notebooks and such. But there’s also plenty of clothes and electronics, like computers and cell phones.
I’ve blogged about this book before, but you see, it’s been updated! Specifically for 2012. Joel D. Joseph, the founder of the Made in the USA Foundation, has been updating his Back to School and Holiday shopping guides for the current year. I’m sure a lot of you are back in school and heading back to school now, why not pick up some made in USA gear?
I’m a college student, I just started my semester. When I needed to go shopping for some new school gear, I seriously considered just hopping down to Target and picking up a few cheap composition books and pencils. But then I realized how stupid that would be, considering this book is laying right next to me.
Plus, I’ve got to say, some of the clothes in here are freaking awesome.
Anyway, the book is available as a paperback and e-book here. Also, they’ll be for sale on amazon, the iBookstore and the Barnes and Noble website, so you can read it on your Kindle, iPad or Nook. (I have an iPad. I probably shouldn’t considering it’s made in China, but so are all of the e-book readers).
Have fun picking out some awesome clothes, backpacks and other cool stuff!
